Another Dumb Update Thing

Hey hey heyyy!!! How are all my freaks??? Weeellllll as you can see, I've got another update! (I know, blegh!) But I actually find this one pretty cool!!!
First off:
I start collage this week! My dream school no less! I'm going for a degree in teaching language arts to special ed students.
It's cool cuz I'll get to work with gifted and disabled ESE kids in the subjects that I love the most! (reading, writing, and music)
I'm gonna be getting my gen eds done for the next few semesters probly, but I've already made some upperclassmen friends that are SOOOOO cool! The whole environment there is just perfect, I love everything about it and I'm just amazed that I made it!
Next:
I'm getting more active on youtube. My goal is to post music vids where I cover lesser-known, non-pop songs, mostly bands that I'm into, sorta like Christina Grimmie, just, like I said, less pop and definitely more rock. I've also just gotten Paint Tool Sai and I'm getting a feel for it, so hopefully I'll be able to post some speed paints and upload the finished products here! 8D
Plus I'm on ebay now. Right now I have books and cds for sale, but my username is FisfunnierthanQ so if anyone wants to check out what I have (on the off chance that I might be selling something special and artsy!) that's where I am. (I don't have a job, people! I need moneehhh!!! T^T)
Also (this one makes me REALLY happy):
I'm going to Night of Joy this year!!! I paid for a 2-night pass out of my own pocket and I'm so psyched!!!! I'm seeing Skillet on the first night and Plumb on the second! Pretty much my 2 fave bands! And the cool thing is I have a cosplay/costume put together for the mascot from Skillet's new album, so I'm gonna look redic. during the concert! But I'm super excited! I may even post pic of me in the outfit (so you'll finally get to see my derpy face 8O) lol

Megamind x Roxanne: SwimmingRoxanne sighed as she sliced cleanly through the water, the scent of chlorine thick in the air and only the sound of her labored breathing echoing off the thick concrete walls.I know I'm a nerd, but I really enjoyed this. (hopeless fanficker)
As the reporter finished her lap, her feet touched the pool's edge and she bounced off, easily falling into a brisk backstroke. Staring up at the ceiling tiles, Roxanne's mind began to wander.
She came to the pool a couple times a year to do laps and relax. Whenever Megamind's kidnappings got too obnoxious, or her job grated on her, or she got a call from her mother asking if she was ever going to settle down and have a family, she would come here and work off her stress. All three of these influenced her decision to rent the local community center's poll for an hour to blow off steam. In the summer it was nearly impossible to get an opening, but since it was winter she was able to get a good spot, with no worry of families or screaming children.

Yeah that's turning out well...
I haven't drawn anything since I finished Manic in the profile shots. AND I wanna redo Linzee.
I've maybe drawn one or 2 more things, but nothing finished. So, I have those to finish, 2 requests to draw, and illustrations to start working on for "The Good Witch".
On the flip side -
I'M FREAKIN DONE WITH SCHOOOOOOLLL!!!!!! I'm FINALLY moving on to the big stuff. So I should have a LOT more time now to work on shtuff. OH! And I'm really stuck on my novel. I mean I know what I want and where I want to start everything, but I'm having trouble just writing it down! Maybe if I had some critiques? I'd be willing to post the first chapter here if I could get some advice on how to get my ideas across well.
AAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnddd, I'm going on a short vacation this week.

i was always searching my house for anything wonderful,
more wonderful than i could imagine because my life
was never as beautiful as those old photo albums
that i used to go through of the same people i see now,

that old book smell that rose from our shelves
was so much better than anything that i could compare
to my life, since i was always so lost and incomplete.

Feel Like a Failure?On Mistakes
So you feel like a failure? Like your whole life is just one mistake after the other? The truth is, we all feel that way, because that's what life is, really. One shortcoming after another. But there's good news in that.
A smart man follows advice when it's first given, but a wise man learns it from experience. And what is experience, but trial and error? If you are right the first time, then you know how to do something, but if you make the mistake, you learn twice as much; what to do, and what NOT to do.
Mistakes are a teacher's greatest aspect. I used to think that in order to help people, I had to be perfect myself, but I find that through my failures and my shortcomings, I can offer the best advice. I've learned that from the people who've taught me as well. My parents aren't perfect, nor are they gallant military folk or 'heroes' by the modern sense of the word, but its through their humbleness that they've taught me some of the greatest lessons, and it's that very co

Hey guys! Wow! Sorry it's been almost 3 years since I've posted a journal, with few submissions in between. Just a few updates.
a-> I'm gradu-mac-atin' this semester so hopefully I'll be putting more pics and writing out. Dog me about my Sonic profile line. I'm serious about this one guys!
b-> Last journal I said we'd gotten a new printer with a scanner. Well...we still have it but the scanner derped out on us (mostly me, cuz no one else uses it) so I'm stuck using my phone camera, hoping desperately that I get good angle & lighting.
c-> I AM still taking requests...I only have one sooooooo hit me up people! I've even gotten better but I could still use the practice!
-> Things I can draw:
--> Mobians (Sonic)
--> mlp style animals
--> people (anime or US cartoon) just send me a base or a pose reference since I'm still improving.
*note-I do NOT color over bases. If you see me use a pose that you recognize from a base, it's because I used it as a ref. jsyk
-> Don't have photoshop, so nothing is gonna be drop-dead gorgeous. Probly just done in msp and cruddily shaded XP
-> ALSO---tell me when your b-days are! I'll give you a request!!!
d-> Got to visit my intended college today for an informational tour. It's AMAZING!!! I'm so excited and it's really close to home! It has everything I'm looking for so I'm trying to get everything I need in on time. Wish me luck!
